I grew up in St. Peters, MO and graduated from Francis Howell Central. After high school, I went to Missouri State University in Springfield where I met my wife, Kelley, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in History Education. After college, I worked for the Division of Youth Services at the Fulton Treatment Center as Youth Specialist II. I started teaching middle school and high school history in Vienna in the 2011-2012 school year. In 2013-14, I got certified to teach Special Education and mixed my school day with Social Studies and Special Education classes. In 2015, I completed my Master’s in Educational Administration and then, in 2018 Special Education Director certification through William Woods University. I was offered the Special Services Director position in 2018. This was a significant change from the classroom, but I have loved every second of it.
My wife, Kelley, and I live in Vienna with our two kids, Addison and Brody. When I’m not at school, we are at our farm taking care of our cattle, on our boat on the Osage, coaching tee ball, or in the woods chasing deer and turkey.
